Maricopium
Welcome.
Intro to my OC project "Afterdeath Encore"
It's a story I want to create that incorporates both my love for music and my passion towards mental health issues.I've always wanted to make my own original universe, but I had trouble writing because I can't get attached to the ideas I had, and I figured that I wasn't being honest with myself. I should be writing about things that are familiar to me. I was always drawn to psychology and anime/manga that deals with the more painful and disturbing aspects of it. Then later, I discovered the menhera/yamikawa genre which actually covers some familiar series to me.At the same time, I really love music and multimedia projects. Most of all, I wanted to create characters that I relate to. So I decided I wanted to make characters that will help me explore myself. Now the premise I've decided to go with is about young musicians who committed suicide being chosen by some strange being to use their music to protect humanity. They willingly agree with this because there could be something in it for them, but the price is never being able to die again nor exist among living humans.I'm still figuring out a lot of things about it.Please proceed with caution as the lore contains depictions of suicide and various traumatic experiences.

I permit anyone to create fanworks for my characters however they want.My only boundary is to put content warnings, especially if you're considering sending them to me. There are themes that make me uncomfortable but I try to be open-minded with them because I love art and I love artists creating whatever they want.
Artist | 25 | any pronouns | ENG, FIL(Tagalog) | 155cm | I am married.Hello, everyone. 🖤🐑You can just call me Marico.I'm just a little black lamb succubus who likes to get comfy, but I also enjoy a feeling of discomfort every now and then, the kind of discomfort that makes me feel things when I see people creatively share their dark fantasies through art. It's a feeling that I like to seek from my own creations. You know what they say: "Art disturbs the comfortable and comforts the disturbed."By the way, if you find a handsome priest (fictional ones only), feel free to introduce him to me. :3
I spend a lot of time doing commissions because I always need money to pay bills.
Outside of comms, I mainly draw my OCs but I also like to draw fan art.
My main fandoms are Project Sekai and FGO, although I don't play Project Sekai because my phone is incompatible for it.
The aesthetics I love are menhera-related (yamikawa, jirai kei, etc.)
I don't have a DNI, but I block people for reasons.
My main accounts are mostly SFW, but I do interact with NSFW posts and share non-sexual nudity and suggestive art as long as it's under a CW.
I will not argue with anyone about this, but I want to be clear that I don't judge people for the things they enjoy in art and fiction, and I do not condone harassment and violence over it. I also prefer not to participate in ship wars. I would rather not expose myself to the kind of art and fan content I don't like.
I do not villainize people for having mental conditions that could make them a danger to themselves and/or others if acted upon since they did not choose to have these conditions. What matters to me is whether or not they are actively hurting people and promoting harmful behavior.
If you're apparently a minor and you follow me, I will not follow you back but you're welcome anyway.
FAQs
"What program(s) do you use?"
I mainly use Krita, but I sometimes have to open Photoshop or Illustrator to make certain elements."Can I repost your art?"
You can repost my fan art as long as it has credit. I don't allow reposting of my art I do for commissions or for my OCs."Do you do art trades?"
Unfortunately, no. I'm often too busy drawing commission requests because it's my main source of income. Only exceptions is if it's during events like Art Fight and Creative Clash. You would also have to be someone I'm close enough with if you want to exchange attacks on Art Fight."Can I use your work for AI training?"
No."Can I post your drawing of my OCs in my Toyhouse/Art Fight/etc.?"
Yes, if I draw your OCs, whether it's commissioned or for free, you're free to use them for your OC profiles and repost them as long as I'm credited.
