Intro to my OC project "Afterdeath Encore"

It's a story I want to create that incorporates both my love for music and my passion towards mental health issues.I've always wanted to make my own original universe, but I had trouble writing because I can't get attached to the ideas I had, and I figured that I wasn't being honest with myself. I should be writing about things that are familiar to me. I was always drawn to psychology and anime/manga that deals with the more painful and disturbing aspects of it. Then later, I discovered the menhera/yamikawa genre which actually covers some familiar series to me.At the same time, I really love music and multimedia projects. Most of all, I wanted to create characters that I relate to. So I decided I wanted to make characters that will help me explore myself. Now the premise I've decided to go with is about young musicians who committed suicide being chosen by some strange being to use their music to protect humanity. They willingly agree with this because there could be something in it for them, but the price is never being able to die again nor exist among living humans.I'm still figuring out a lot of things about it.Please proceed with caution as the lore contains depictions of suicide and various traumatic experiences.

Permissions:

I permit anyone to create fanworks for my characters however they want.My only boundaries are to put content warnings and do not use my characters to spread hatred towards real life people. There are themes that make me uncomfortable but I try to be open-minded with them because I love art and I love artists creating whatever they want.

Artist | 25 | any pronouns | ENG, FIL(Tagalog) | 155cm | I am married.Hello, everyone. 🖤🐑You can just call me Mari/Marico.I'm just a black lamb succubus who likes to get comfy, but I also enjoy a feeling of discomfort every now and then from looking at not-so-wholesome art. You know what they say, "Art disturbs the comfortable and comforts the disturbed."

BYF (You don't have to read it, but it's a warning):

  • I am genderfluid. There are things i don't call myself, but you can refer to me as any gender.

  • The aesthetics I love are menhera-related (yamikawa, jirai kei, etc.) I'm passionate about mental health, and I appreciate any subculture and art form that expresses that.

  • I spend a lot of time doing commissions because I want to help my husband pay our bills.

  • Outside of comms, I mainly draw my OCs but I also like to participate in events like Art Fight and Creative Clash.

  • I'm not really much of a fandom person anymore. I like interacting with artists because of their work.

  • I don't have a DNI, but I block people for reasons, especially if I suspect them to be a bad actor, spam account, or have a history of harassing others.

  • My main accounts are mostly SFW, but I do interact with NSFW posts and share them as long as they have proper warnings. I expect anyone who interacts with me to be responsible for their own curation.

  • I am openly anti-censorship. That means I will stand for the rights of creators to create what they want as long as they're not intended to spread hate or directly harm real people. I do not carry labels like "pro-ship" and "pro-fic", but if you would like to call me that, that's fine, and if you do not agree with my beliefs, I'm not willing to please you.

  • I do not villainize people for having paraphilias. What matters to me is whether someone has hurt people or is promoting harmful behavior.

  • If you're apparently a minor and you follow me, I will not follow you back but you're welcome to interact. I expect you all to be responsible enough to avoid interacting with things that are not meant for you.

  • Lastly, I am married and uninterested in seeking romantic/sexual relationships with anyone other than my husband. You can comment sexual things about my art but not towards me. Thank you.

FAQs

"What program(s) do you use?"
I mainly use Krita, but I sometimes have to open Photoshop or Illustrator to make certain elements.
"Can I repost your art?"
You can repost my fan art as long as it has credit. I don't allow reposting of my art I do for commissions or for my OCs.
"Do you do art trades?"
Unfortunately, no. I'm often too busy drawing commission requests because it's my main source of income. Only exceptions is if it's during events like Art Fight and Creative Clash. You would also have to be someone I'm close enough with or attack me first if you want to exchange attacks on Art Fight.
"Can I use your work for AI training?"
No.
"Can I post your drawing of my OCs in my Toyhouse/Art Fight/etc.?"
Yes, if I draw your OCs, whether it's commissioned or for free, you're free to use them for your OC profiles and repost them as long as I'm credited.
